What are Dofollow Links in SEO

Links can be of two types; Dofollow and Nofollow. Here we will be explaining only Dofollow links, for information about Nofollow links read What are Nofollow links in SEO.

Dofollow links are those links which allow a search engine to follow its path. It means if there is link which takes the user to the target url but refuses the search engine is not  a Dofollow link. Dofollow links have great value in SEO and it would be correct If I say that SEO is all about getting high PR Dofollow links. All the advantages with regards to SEO are only accorded when the backlinks are dofollow, rather a link is called a backlink only when it is Dofollow. Practically speaking, any link which is not a Dofollow link is basically not a Backlink and has no SEO value.
